There are many programs that will connect you to an international students and visiting scholars. You can help your new friend practice his or her English by becoming the conversation or language partner. Wonderful opportunity to have a one on one conversation to cultivate your perspective and challenge any preconceived notions

Enroll in an international related course as your elective.
Doesn’t matter if it is a foreign language courses, other country civilizations, or even international business courses. You will get to seek out and cultivate a global perspective, challenge preconceived notions, and learn to become global citizens.
Attend the weekly Multicultural Community Hour (MCH).
Participate in a weekly informal, round-table discussion where international students and visiting scholars are invited to interact with American friends in a casual atmosphere. Everyone is welcome!
